Imitating usernames
As many users of the forum will know, there have been incidents where users are choosing usernames so that they can imitate others and cause confusion and arguments. We have put a block in place so that users are not able to change their usernames once they have registered. We are currently in the process of going through our database of usernames, identifying any we feel have been created to imitate others and changing them to generic ones. We are doing this on the basis of date registered (if a username has been created, any subsequent attempts to register an imitation have been/will be changed). If you find your name has been changed you can contact us via usernames@parentscentre.gov.uk to have it changed to something else. The ParentsCentre team.
