What has happened to Parents Online?

Parents Online has merged into ParentsCentre

From the beginning of 2005, Parents Online ceased to exist.

The vast majority of the content from Parents Online has been merged into the ParentsCentre site. The Safety, News, and Resources sections can all be found under 'Using computers and the internet'.

In addition to this, the Forum and Agony Aunt (now 'Ask an expert) sections have also been brought across. You'll be able to find them at www.parentscentre.gov.uk/forum.

ParentsCentre, which works in conjunction with Directgov - Central Government's official online resource - focuses on all the important issues facing you as a parent, from choosing a school for your child to dealing with bullying, and from homework tips to safe internet links. The information and advice is impartial and supportive, and the amount of content is set to grow and grow.

The ParentsCentre team encourages interactivity with its users and would welcome any feedback from Parents Online users new to the site. Please feel free to contact us.
