'GCSEs and A Levels' webchat

On Friday 18 August and Friday 25 August, DfES Director of 14 to 19 Reform Jon Coles answered your questions on GCSE's and A Levels in a live webchat.
Jon also answered questions on the changes to the education system announced last year by the government, which included a plan to raise participation in post-16 education from 75 per cent to 90 per cent by 2015.
These 14 to 19 reforms are also designed to make learning and the curriculum more engaging, flexible and challenging for young people, and to give pupils the necessary basic skills for life and work.
