''Internet safety'' webchat

On 12 December 2005, Chair of the UK's Children's Charities' Coalition on Internet Safety John Carr participated in a live online Question & Answer session, here on ParentsCentre.

In the webchat, John answered all your questions on how to ensure that your child enjoys all the benefits offered by the internet without being subjected to the dangers that can be encountered while using it.

John was on hand to give advice on how to use chat rooms safely, how to identify and put a stop to online bullying abuse via the internet and mobile phones, and how to make sure that your child does not come into contact with offensive images or untrustworthy online "strangers".
